Virtual tour of the Arcade Section at the ‘Collection Of The King Of Pop‘ Michael Jackson Exhibition in Beverly Hills. Dozens of arcade machines and memorabilia from Star Wars to comic superheros. Look for Bruce Lee wearing MJ’s hat!
Eternal Moonwalk is a global on-going tribute of fan’s personal rendition of the Moonwalk. Some are good, while most are funny!
Flashmobs of fans dancing to Beat It in Stockholm. Look closely on 1:48 at the old lady in black on the right, she’s so cool! Comel je nak menari jugak hehehe
Coldplay’s cover of Billie Jean at their recent show in San Francisco. Sweet!
Man, I so wish they could come and do one here! ARGH! It would be awesome to see those cool stuff they make and maybe what local inventors, artists and geeks can do! In the mean time we could just settle for the full online HD episodes of MakeZine TV
Why should I be bothered with something awesome that’s happening elsewhere but not good ol Malaysia? Well because you don’t have worry if you couldn’t go or wait for the crappy crowd videos on YouTube or Torrent download sometime later- you could watch it live online on their website! Woohoo! Granted, if Streamyx doesn’t die on us for the whole day like last Monday lah
While ladies drool over shoes and handbags, us boys have our saliva shed over things like this!
Mouse Vomit came up with this foam model of NES Mouse using the aesthetics of a NES System’s gamepad for his school project. UBER AWESOMENESS. He has to turn this into a functional mouse and sell it! ARGH!!! In the mean time, you could make your own NES Mouse like this.
I received this in the mailbox the other day from my sister in Seattle. A SUPER DUPER COOL ThinkGeek.com’s Electronic Drum Kit Shirt! I saw the video on Make Zine a couple of months ago, and when sis asked me what I want for my bday, I sent her the shirt’s product page on Think Geek.
It has 7 different functional sounds of hi-hat, crash, snare, high tom, mid tom, floor tom and bass drum and all you have to do is think of a beat and tap the instrument! The drum pad is actually a big decal and you could take it off along with the 4 AAA battery pack at the side to wash the shirt. Tough it sometimes unresponsive when tapped, the volume is quite loud when cranked to full. Enough to have a decent jam session with your friends!
I hope Think Geek will come up with an upgrade to the shirt and let us sample our own sound or presets like techno, hip hop, dnb or percussion drums. Or maybe a whole range of electronic musical instruments T-shirt like guitar, bass, violin, etc.
So this is my Think Geek’s Electronic Drum Kit Shirt in action, sorry though for the lagging webcam quality and bad drum play! Am still trying to get used to it! Maybe I’ll come up with a decent tune soon rather than this rojak beat hehehe!
