Sighting

I don’t really listen to MCR nor I hate them or their legion of emo fans(in fact, I’m Not Okay was rotating in my playlist for a while). But this news from Wired via Ricecooker is indeed way out of line. Denying and furthermore, beating people of their god given right to be apart of any form of group is definitely wrong. As long as they don’t disturb or harm you in anyway, just let them be, OK?

I hope this incident will not end up on our shores. There’s enough conflicts in our small independent scene to deal with, let alone interference from the outside. The media(Harian Metro, Mastika, Utusan Malaysia, etc.) will certainly have a field day when they found about this and use it against our youth and scapegoating them. Like what they did back in 2006(more here).
